Grown in the Takengon and Atu Lintang regions, Sumatra's top coffee-producing areas, this coffee is largely farmed by small landowners using traditional and natural farming methods. The dark roast enhances the intense flavors and natural sweetness and nuttiness of the beans.
The Jagong Mill, a family-run mill in the region, has full control over the processing and milling from start to final export, ensuring consistent quality. The mill’s revenue is used to further supports sustainable farming, including higher wages, improved irrigation, water reservoirs, and terrace maintenance.
